Picture of mackay bagpipe player12/13/2022 ![]() ![]() Most recently, I was invited to play at the First Baptist Church in Broken Arrow for their Memorial Sunday services on May 30, 2021. ![]() (2016) the First Baptist Church in Rogers, Arkansas for their Christmas cantata, "Peace on Earth" (December 2016 & 2017). I have performed in several area churches including Asbury United Methodist Church, First United Methodist Church, (both in Tulsa), First Presbyterian Church in Claremore for Reformation Sunday, First Baptist Church in Sapulpa for their annual Patriotic program on July 3rd. By invitation, I was honored to meet the Spann family in July 2015 at their home in Winfield, Alabama where I played my pipes for them in honor of their son, Mike Spann. Captain 'Mike' Spann, USMC, was the first American to die in the "war on terror" after Sept. Johnny Michael Spann's grave in October 2012 (all pictured in the gallery). Marshall's grave General of the Army, Omar Bradley's grave and Capt. I have also had the honor of playing my bagpipes over several graves in Arlington National Cemetery. 2015, I was honored to be invited to play the pipes at the Oklahoma State University (OSU) Memorial Service for the four individuals that lost their lives as well as the many injured and their families that survived the tragic incident that occurred during the Oklahoma State University Homecoming Parade in Stillwater, OK. I have also played for both public and private schools from elementary grades to University level institutions. I have performed at numerous funeral services, military honor services, birthday parties, weddings, church services including Native American churches and, a Cowboy Church in Wichita Falls, TX. #Picture of mackay bagpipe player professionalAs a professional piper, I have been playing the Great Highland Bagpipe for over 18 years. ![]()
